]]> Winterset is very excited to announce the release of our brand new EP, Early Inventions. Early Inventions is essentially a retrospective. It is the result of a band that has gone through numerous changes over time and has spent more time in a basement than in the studio. These few songs cover a span of a few years. They are some of the most personal songs we’ve written, and they’ve been with us long enough for them to feel almost nostalgic. We love these songs. It is a long overdue first release for us. Having now amassed enough music to complete a full length follow up, we put these songs together virtually unchanged since they were written, as a look at where we came from. While the very basic soul of this music is still present in everything we do, our music is at times a clear departure from these elements.
